Aarti Khetarpal – Model & Actor

Aarti Khetarpal is an actor, model and TV Show Host. She has shot with Amir Khan, Hritik Roshan, Purab Kohli and many others in the movies and ad commercials. She is one of the stars of the movie – ‘Secret Superstar’, produced by Aamir Khan Productions releasing on 19th Oct. As per Forbes India, it is likely to be India’s first 1000 crore movie. Her advertisement for Sonata Watches Act, was appreciated by Salman Khan and recognised by many. Aarti was recently made the ambassador of Mathura and Vrindavan to urge the citizens to come out and excercise their vote in the Uttar Pradesh state elections. She has also been a speaker and host at the Bombay Stock Exchange at the Water Conservation Conference and a motivational speaker at various schools like Birla School and some others in UP. Previously, Aarti did her TV debut in a Star Plus show ‘Airlines’, followed by Zee, Sony, 9x and NDTV Prime, as a host for the tech series – Go Digital.  She has followed her passion to make the most of her talent. Apart from being featured on covers and editotials of magazines like Femina, Grehlaxmi etc, her TV commercials include – Sonata Watches, Acer Laptops, Sony Rox, Franklin Templeton, PwC, ICICI Bank, Nikon, Tupperware, Philips, Delhi Metro and many others.

Aashish Beergi – Co-founder & CEO, MASH Project

Aashish is a youth activist and a social entrepreneur. He loves building innovative platforms for young people to engage with social development work. Aashish has represented MASH Project on a global platform and is the youngest to attend the Experts Meeting on Youth Mobile initiative by UNESCO at its headquarters in Paris, France. Aashish has been British Council’s Global Changemaker from India in 2009 and represented his country at the fourth Global Youth Summit in London, U.K. Later in 2011, he was also selected as a member of the Indian delegation to the International Youth Forum, Seliger in Russia. In 2015, he was invited to speak at the International Workshop on Climate Change organized by The World Youth Foundation in Malaysia. Recently, he was invited to be delegate at BRICS Youth Summit. Microsoft featured Aashish as one of the young innovators in their online campaign called ‘Everyday 25’. During his college time, he setup a waste management project, which went on to become one of the finest models of decentralized urban waste management in India. He has organised various youth events like Rolex Leadership Forum; TEDx Talks and StartUp Weekend among others.

Abheyraj Singh B

Abheyraj Singh – Interaction Designer & iOS Developer

Abheyraj Singh is an Interaction Designer and iOS Developer based out of New Delhi. He was one of the initial iOS Developers of Wynk Music App covering all areas of the product including networking, UI, Core Data and other optimizations ensuring a smooth experience.He has also worked as a part of the Interaction Design Project at Housing Labs, developing Hush Tour App, which involves finding better ways of showing customers houses. Previously he was a part of the conceptualization, product design and development of Pipal, an app that helps you connect with the people living in the same locality.

Recently he has co-founded a real time music sharing app, Lisn, which lets you share music with your friends in real time. Abheyraj is a skateboarder and musician in his free time. He is also fond of twiddling his thumbs on a Dualshock 4 Controller.

Abhishek Dabas B

Abhishek DabasCo-founder & CEO – Zolt Energy

Abhishek holds a Bachelors degree from IIT Delhi and a PGDM from IIM Calcutta. Prior to starting Zolt, Abhishek had worked in Project Finance, Marketing and Project Management for 4 years. He left his job with an intent to start a company with a positive impact on the society and Zolt happened when he found the right mix of passion, skill-set and a sense of duty. Zolt’s core focus is to make it easy for residential customers to adopt solar energy.

While the returns on a lifestyle investment on an energy independent home are great, the 2 main inhibitors to mass solar adoption are high upfront cost and perceived risk on performance as it is early days for something that is supposed to last 25 years. Zolt, with easy financing, online monitoring and generation guarantees specializes in de-risking solar adoption. Since March 2016, it has installed solar on more than 40 homes, which together generate clean energy equivalent to offsetting carbon footprint @1 tree/day. Zolt started out of Delhi & Hyderabad and now has operational capabilities to execute projects in most Tier-1 cities of India.

Aditi is part of the founding team for India office of DesignThinkers Group. She is working with an international team of design thinkers to help Indian organisations devise effective strategies using ‘Design Thinking’ methodology.

 Aditi has spent most of her work life being an entrepreneur or working with/for them. With about a decade of work experience, she has been known to be an aggressive leader, target & detail oriented manager and someone who is able to work across age groups, geographies, domains and sectors. She is highly interested in the intersection between design, technology, entrepreneurship and sustainability and has experience in entrepreneurship, photography, design (design thinking, service design, product), technology (clean tech, healthcare, social tech), innovation (frugal, democratic), sustainability and retail.

She also loves photography and works as a freelance photographer whenever she finds time. Previously she has worked as a manager at IIM Ahmedabad’s ‘Centre for Innovation Incubation and Entrepreneurship’ and several other amazing organisations in multiple challenging roles.

Aditya is a commerce graduate from Delhi University where in his first year of college he co-founded the social venture, Project Bawarchi, that worked with victims of substance abuse establishing them as independent entrepreneurs in the food industry.

He is currently building the 6 AM Club, a social wellness startup that aims to promote mental and social well-being among masses through recreational sessions. Along with 6AM he also heads marketing in his family businesses of retail, real estate & hospitality. He is a learner who is deeply interested psychology & sustainability. He was a member of the State Steering Committee on Panchayati Raj, Government of Himachal Pradesh, India. As a professional trainer, he has imparted training to more than 15,000 representatives of Panchayats, Himachal Pradesh Administrative Service (Probationers), government functionaries, corporate sector, NGOs and other civil society organizations across the country. He has demonstrated experience in the field of micro-entrepreneurships, livelihoods and micro-finance, skills development, policy and programme advocacy, strategic planning and management, organisational development and networking. He has written books, manuals, and published several articles in the magazines of national and international repute.

He holds a Post Graduate degree in Rural Development from XISS, Ranchi. He was awarded visiting fellowship by the Institute of Development Studies, University of Sussex (U.K.) for his outstanding contributions in strengthening institutions of local self-governance in India. To his credit, he steered several innovation projects that include his leading role in developing Mentor Online Training (MOL) for micro-entrepreneurship development for CII-BYST supported by International Finance Corporation (IFC), which is first of its kind in India. Alok has worked for over 25 years in advertising, marketing and media – as Group COO, Network 18 (Reliance Group), CEO, Zee News, COO, Cheil Worldwide (Samsung Group) and EVP at WPP Group agencies. He is an IIT Kanpur, IIM Bangalore and The Wharton School alumnus. Alok has built a large number of Indian and global brands in India – Samsung, Nokia, Hyundai, CNN, Zee News, Vodafone, Mars, Wrigley’s, Dabur, Arrow, Lee Jeans, Chevrolet, Philips and Govt. of India and led large corporations, startups, mergers, acquisitions, diversifications and new service expansion in media and advertising.

He enjoy mentoring and advising young people and reads a lot about technology, management, brand marketing and other boring stuff. Alok loves the 70s Rock music but has also learnt to enjoy Country and Blues. He believes in the motto – ‘great minds like a think’.

Ameya is a firm believer in Swami Vivekananda’s definition of “Education”. Education according to him that process, through which character is formed, the strength of mind is increased, and the intellect is sharpened, as a result of which, one can stand on one’s own feet. He is currently heading the ‘English Literacy Program’ at LeapForWord & attempting to create an effective on-ground solution to erase the english illiteracy problem, affecting many in our country.

LeapForWord truly believies that a good teacher in a classroom can beat any level of technology / tools. The english language challenge exists because the current skill level of teachers with respect to english language from rural parts of India and urban poor communities is very limited or is abysmally poor.

Ameya is also a vising faculty member at HR College of Commerce and Economics and has previously taught at Amity University, RGIT and some others.

Archana Soreng – Khadia Tribe, Member of United Nations Secretary General’s Youth Advisory Group on Climate Change

Archana Soreng belongs to the Khadia Tribe from Odisha, India. She is one of the seven members of the United Nations Secretary General’s Youth Adivsory Group on Climate Change. She is experienced in advocacy and research and is working to document, preserve, and promote traditional knowledge and cultural practices of indigenous communities.

Archana is one of the member of Indigenous Solidarity Working Group of YOUNGO (the official Children and Youth Constituency of UNFCCC). She works as Research Officer with Vasundhara, Odisha, an action, research and policy advocacy organization working on the rights of Indigenous Peoples, biodiversity conservation, sustainable livelihood and climate action in India. Since last year, she has also served on the Board of Land Rights Now, an international alliance campaign to secure Indigenous and community land rights globally.

Archana Soreng has also Participated in UNFCCC COP 26 2021 and Stockholm+50 International Environmental Meeting 2022 advocating for Indigenous People and Climate Action.

Archana holds a Masters in Regulatory Governance from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. Archana was also the President of Students Union of Tata Institute of Social Sciences 2017-2018

Archit Malhotra – CoFounder, Advaitha Startup, Eco-system Builder

Archit is an amateur artist, foodie, beard enthusiast and poet. He started his entrepreneurial journey at the age of 16 by selling mobile phones and started a magazine as a platform for school and college students to showcase their art. He was also part of some of India’s first coworking spaces like Moonlighting and CoworkIn and has worked closely with many startups. Archit has been an active part of helping build up the startup ecosystem for the last 4 years, including initiatives like Startup Weekend Powered by Google for Entrepreneurs.

He believes that businesses are built on clear goals, clean delivery and action not thoughts alone. He likes things to be simple and would rather execute than think things through. Recently, Archit has co-founded Advaitha – a luxury skin care brand.

Ashok Batra, Consultant – Markets Transformation and Sustainable Value Chains, Rainforest Alliance, India

Ashok Batra, completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Economic Honours at Wadia College, Pune. He joined J. Thomas & Co. Pvt. Ltd.in 1972 as a Management Trainee and served in that firm for a record 42 years until his retirement in 2013, being the Chairman and Managing Director for the last three years of his tenure.Immediately after his retirement from J. Thomas, he was appointed as a Consultant in Markets Transformation and Sustainable Value Chains to the World famous Non profit NGO, Rainforest Alliance, renowned for Sustainability and Environment protection, besides looking after Social and Labour issues, and much more. In this way, Ashok Batra will be giving something back to our Great Tea Industry, so that it doesn’t fade away and we still have a vibrant Tea Industry in the years to come.

Ashutosh Senger is an Advocate and a registered Patent Agent in India. He practices law primarily before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and the Delhi High Court. He is also a member of Young Singapore International Arbitration Centre.Prior to commencing litigation, Ashutosh worked as a Research Associate at The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI). At TERI, he has worked on environmental policy research assignments supported by international agencies such as ADB, DFID and GGGI. He is also the Governing Board Member of Youth For Earth, a not-for-profit organisation working towards enabling youth and businesses to be drivers of sustainable development.

Aishwarya works at Talerang on the mission to get students work-ready. In her role, she focuses on student engagement and drives the vertical for North India. She hopes to assist the young minds of tomorrow find their own passion by tapping into her own experiences. Aishwariya is a Mechanical Engineer from the University of Strathclyde, UK where she graduated with Merit and worked on projects specializing in renewable energy and sustainability. Prior to Talerang, she worked for several years to assist aquaculture farmers in India to become sustainable.

Asmita Sood – Model & Actor

Asmita is an Indian model turned actress who hails from Shimla, Himachal Pradesh.  She made her acting debut with the Telugu film Brammigadi Katha (2011) and since then has endorsed over 40 brands like Coca Cola, Airtel, SBI, Big Bazaar and many others. In 2013, Asmita debuted in Kannada films with Victory, which also stars Sharan in the lead role. It was followed by her Malayalam debut in the anthology 5 Sundarikal in which she played Ami, a Muslim girl who gets married at a young age. Shveta Raina – Founder & CEO, Talerang

Shveta Raina is a graduate of the Harvard Business School (HBS) where she was awarded 2nd year Honours (~top 15% of the graduating class) and was also a recipient of the Horace Goldsmith Fellowship for Social Enterprise. She led an independent research project at HBS under the guidance of Professor Das Narayan Das to find a solution to India’s employability crisis, which grew into a business-plan and finally into her start-up, Talerang.

Siddharth Pandey, a Sri Ram College of Commerce graduate, loves India, sports, business and lifestyle. In 2011, he founded LEH LEH Sports after a successful stint as an international sales and marketing manager at Electrolux in Sydney, Australia. Siddharth’s urge to start LEH LEH was instinctual. Tushar Jain – Local Committee President, AIESEC Delhi IIT

Tushar is a very simple person when it comes to wishes in life. He never asked for much. He had no desires or didn’t know what to choose as a career when all his friends were already talking about which college they want to go to, but he never really cared much about it.

He always told himself, “I am confident and capable enough to do something worthy in my life, do not worry.” But this careless attitude soon showed him the reality of this competitive world, when he was at a verge of getting compartment in his class 12th boards exam.

He listened to his heart, telling him to play a soccer tournament during boards and not listening to his brain, telling him to study. Soon, he heard about an organization called AIESEC. In the summer of 2013, he worked in Indonesia trying to impact their society. On his return, he decided to join AIESEC as a local committee member. From there on, his life completely changed.

Vaibhav Chhabra is a mechanical engineer by profession but a carpenter by passion.
