She is one of the stars of the movie – ‘Secret Superstar’, produced by Aamir Khan Productions releasing on 19th Oct. As per Forbes India, it is likely to be India’s first 1000 crore movie. Her advertisement for Sonata Watches Act, was appreciated by Salman Khan and recognised by many. Aarti was recently made the ambassador of Mathura and Vrindavan to urge the citizens to come out and excercise their vote in the Uttar Pradesh state elections. She has also been a speaker and host at the Bombay Stock Exchange at the Water Conservation Conference and a motivational speaker at various schools like Birla School and some others in UP. Previously, Aarti did her TV debut in a Star Plus show ‘Airlines’, followed by Zee, Sony, 9x and NDTV Prime, as a host for the tech series – Go Digital.  She has followed her passion to make the most of her talent. Apart from being featured on covers and editotials of magazines like Femina, Grehlaxmi etc, her TV commercials include – Sonata Watches, Acer Laptops, Sony Rox, Franklin Templeton, PwC, ICICI Bank, Nikon, Tupperware, Philips, Delhi Metro and many others.

Aashish is a youth activist and a social entrepreneur. He loves building innovative platforms for young people to engage with social development work. Aashish has represented MASH Project on a global platform and is the youngest to attend the Experts Meeting on Youth Mobile initiative by UNESCO at its headquarters in Paris, France. Aashish has been British Council’s Global Changemaker from India in 2009 and represented his country at the fourth Global Youth Summit in London, U.K. Later in 2011, he was also selected as a member of the Indian delegation to the International Youth Forum, Seliger in Russia. In 2015, he was invited to speak at the International Workshop on Climate Change organized by The World Youth Foundation in Malaysia. Recently, he was invited to be delegate at BRICS Youth Summit. Microsoft featured Aashish as one of the young innovators in their online campaign called ‘Everyday 25’. During his college time, he setup a waste management project, which went on to become one of the finest models of decentralized urban waste management in India. He has organised various youth events like Rolex Leadership Forum; TEDx Talks and StartUp Weekend among others.

Abheyraj Singh is an Interaction Designer and iOS Developer based out of New Delhi. He was one of the initial iOS Developers of Wynk Music App covering all areas of the product including networking, UI, Core Data and other optimizations ensuring a smooth experience.He has also worked as a part of the Interaction Design Project at Housing Labs, developing Hush Tour App, which involves finding better ways of showing customers houses. Previously he was a part of the conceptualization, product design and development of Pipal, an app that helps you connect with the people living in the same locality.

Recently he has co-founded a real time music sharing app, Lisn, which lets you share music with your friends in real time. Abheyraj is a skateboarder and musician in his free time. He is also fond of twiddling his thumbs on a Dualshock 4 Controller.

Abhishek holds a Bachelors degree from IIT Delhi and a PGDM from IIM Calcutta. Prior to starting Zolt, Abhishek had worked in Project Finance, Marketing and Project Management for 4 years. He left his job with an intent to start a company with a positive impact on the society and Zolt happened when he found the right mix of passion, skill-set and a sense of duty. Zolt’s core focus is to make it easy for residential customers to adopt solar energy.

While the returns on a lifestyle investment on an energy independent home are great, the 2 main inhibitors to mass solar adoption are high upfront cost and perceived risk on performance as it is early days for something that is supposed to last 25 years. Zolt, with easy financing, online monitoring and generation guarantees specializes in de-risking solar adoption. Since March 2016, it has installed solar on more than 40 homes, which together generate clean energy equivalent to offsetting carbon footprint @1 tree/day. Zolt started out of Delhi & Hyderabad and now has operational capabilities to execute projects in most Tier-1 cities of India.

He has conceptualized and strategized the foundation of the Those In Need – India’s first comprehensive matchmaking platform for non-profits and volunteers. Meeting new people, encountering interesting stories and undertaking adventurous road trips on his beloved bullet 350 shape Abhishek’s prime interests. The adventurous Abhishek has already covered 6677 KM in 13 days from Delhi to Kanyakumari. He has been given different tags in past: TEDx Speaker, India’s Top 100 Young Leader 2017, Published author, co-founder, biker and many more.

Aditi is part of the founding team for India office of DesignThinkers Group. She is working with an international team of design thinkers to help Indian organisations devise effective strategies using ‘Design Thinking’ methodology.

 Aditi has spent most of her work life being an entrepreneur or working with/for them. With about a decade of work experience, she has been known to be an aggressive leader, target & detail oriented manager and someone who is able to work across age groups, geographies, domains and sectors. She is highly interested in the intersection between design, technology, entrepreneurship and sustainability and has experience in entrepreneurship, photography, design (design thinking, service design, product), technology (clean tech, healthcare, social tech), innovation (frugal, democratic), sustainability and retail.

She also loves photography and works as a freelance photographer whenever she finds time. Previously she has worked as a manager at IIM Ahmedabad’s ‘Centre for Innovation Incubation and Entrepreneurship’ and several other amazing organisations in multiple challenging roles.

Aditya is a commerce graduate from Delhi University where in his first year of college he co-founded the social venture, Project Bawarchi, that worked with victims of substance abuse establishing them as independent entrepreneurs in the food industry.

He is currently building the 6 AM Club, a social wellness startup that aims to promote mental and social well-being among masses through recreational sessions. Along with 6AM he also heads marketing in his family businesses of retail, real estate & hospitality. He is a learner who is deeply interested psychology & sustainability. In his free time he loves to go on solo adventures, cook healthy food, read, and try out different types of coffee.

Honored by the World Economic Forum as a Young Global Leader 2013-­18, Ajay Chaturvedi, is an ex-­Ci1 where he served in Strategy and Sales posi1ons. An Engineer from BITS Pilani and a Graduate in Management of Technology from the School of Engineering and The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and holds a Diploma in Global Leadership & Public Policy from The Harvard Kennedy School of Government. Ajay was awarded CNN IBN Youth Icon / Young Indian Leader of the year 2011 and was nominated as one of the Amazing Global Indian by Times Now News 2012-­2013 and Yahoo unsung Heroes 2012-­2013.

Ajay has over 20 years of experience in the social sector of India, spanning NGOs, chambers of commerce and bilateral agencies. Prior to his current assignment, he worked with BYST – CII, WWF-India, Swiss Agency for Development Cooperation (SDC-IC), PRIA, PHDRDF and CASA. He was a member of the State Steering Committee on Panchayati Raj, Government of Himachal Pradesh, India. As a professional trainer, he has imparted training to more than 15,000 representatives of Panchayats, Himachal Pradesh Administrative Service (Probationers), government functionaries, corporate sector, NGOs and other civil society organizations across the country. He has demonstrated experience in the field of micro-entrepreneurships, livelihoods and micro-finance, skills development, policy and programme advocacy, strategic planning and management, organisational development and networking. He has written books, manuals, and published several articles in the magazines of national and international repute.

He holds a Post Graduate degree in Rural Development from XISS, Ranchi. He was awarded visiting fellowship by the Institute of Development Studies, University of Sussex (U.K.) for his outstanding contributions in strengthening institutions of local self-governance in India. To his credit, he steered several innovation projects that include his leading role in developing Mentor Online Training (MOL) for micro-entrepreneurship development for CII-BYST supported by International Finance Corporation (IFC), which is first of its kind in India. He launched Pre-Election Voter’s Awareness Campaign (PEVAC) for PRIs on behalf of PRIA in the year 2000 in Rajasthan which is become a national level campaign adopted by many state governments with the identical acronym viz. PEVAC.

Akshay Makar is an experienced thought-leader, Innovator and Climate Entrepreneur within the field of sustainability. His vision is to dedicate his professional career in making breakthrough technologies using Innovation as a tool for improved sustainability practice, helping global sustainable solutions succeed, and making the sustainability agenda more attractive.

He is driven by a strong passion to accelerate the transition towards a renewable energy future. Under his leadership, CLIMATENZA has become a global energy company with offices in India and Chile. Apart from this, he is working with partner organizations in India, Bangladesh, Togo, and Chile to promote solar thermal technologies in the industrial sector.

An entrepreneur, a budding psychological counselor and life coach who strives to help his clients win in whatever they pursue. With multiple aspirations and a bachelor’s degree in science, he started off his career by starting a small garment manufacturing company “La Poupee” in 1997 under his father’s guidance and expanded the business widely with his creativity and it is very much a part of him even today. Being a good learner and teacher with a strong positive aura that he carries towards anything that he does, he ventured into adding products and clients into his business and saw it through its ups and downs with amazing resilience. Alok has worked for over 25 years in advertising, marketing and media – as Group COO, Network 18 (Reliance Group), CEO, Zee News, COO, Cheil Worldwide (Samsung Group) and EVP at WPP Group agencies. He is an IIT Kanpur, IIM Bangalore and The Wharton School alumnus. Alok has built a large number of Indian and global brands in India – Samsung, Nokia, Hyundai, CNN, Zee News, Vodafone, Mars, Wrigley’s, Dabur, Arrow, Lee Jeans, Chevrolet, Philips and Govt. of India and led large corporations, startups, mergers, acquisitions, diversifications and new service expansion in media and advertising.

He enjoy mentoring and advising young people and reads a lot about technology, management, brand marketing and other boring stuff. Alok loves the 70s Rock music but has also learnt to enjoy Country and Blues. He believes in the motto – ‘great minds like a think’.

Ameya is a firm believer in Swami Vivekananda’s definition of “Education”. Education according to him that process, through which character is formed, the strength of mind is increased, and the intellect is sharpened, as a result of which, one can stand on one’s own feet. He is currently heading the ‘English Literacy Program’ at LeapForWord & attempting to create an effective on-ground solution to erase the english illiteracy problem, affecting many in our country.

LeapForWord truly believies that a good teacher in a classroom can beat any level of technology / tools. The english language challenge exists because the current skill level of teachers with respect to english language from rural parts of India and urban poor communities is very limited or is abysmally poor.

Ameya is also a vising faculty member at HR College of Commerce and Economics and has previously taught at Amity University, RGIT and some others.

Annu Grover is the Founder & Managing Director of Nurturing Green. Nurturing Green is the pioneer in India in promoting the Green concept of Gifting, Decor, Landscaping and other related Services. Popularly known as the Clothing Man and the recipient of 2015 Ramon Magsaysay award, Anshu Gupta founded Goonj with a mission to highlight some basic but ignored needs of people on the development agenda, using clothing as a metaphor. Anshu studied mass communication apart from doing Masters in Economics and started as freelance journalist. He left a corporate communication job in 1998 and initiated Goonj.

An Ashoka and Schwab Fellow for entrepreneurship, he has built the genesis of a parallel trash based economy by creating barter between efforts of rural communities and urban surplus material as two new currencies. Anshul is a social entrepreneur and a young media influencer, who founded Youth Ki Awaaz, India’s largest social justice media platform for young people to address and engage on critical issues, at the age of 17. Anshul started YKA while in high school in 2008, to break the culture of silence around issues that young people grow up in, and to address the lack of citizen voices in the traditional media discourse. An Ashoka Fellow, INK Fellow and Young Innovator (United Nations ITU), Forbes 30 Under 30, Anshul has helped several high-impact organisations engage young people in a variety of important conversations, from politics and gender, to art and culture. He is also on the Civil Society Advisory Group of UN Women for India and has previously served on the board of Jhatkaa, a campaigning organisation committed to building grassroots citizen power across India, and Collectively, a World Economic Forum and Unilever collaborative non-profit to build a sustainable future.

Dr. Anubhooti Bhatnagar holds a Doctorate Degree in Sociology. She is also a certified life coach, author & a professional artist. She forayed into social entrepreneurship in 2008 with a strong passion and commitment to work for the betterment of the underprivileged communities. She envisions developing creative hidden skills in underprivileged youth of India and helping the communities in realising their talent which can make them financially self reliant.

She runs a coaching firm by the name of 3 A NeoFusion. She believes that every single one of us is naturally creative and resourceful. As a coach she helps adolescents and young youth to see their strengths more clearly. She has also worked as an Art Consultant in Time –NIE (Chennai). Her social work has been acknowledged by many in the Indian society and the foundation has received recognition for its continuous efforts in uplifting the underprivileged children.

Anurag is a first generation entrepreneur and is a media observer, journalist and mentor rolled into one. He is a B. Tech in Computer Sciences, a degree, which he acquired before joining Management Development Ins1tute (MDI). His businesses include exchange4media.com, PITCH, IMPACT, Realty Plus and Franchise Plus.

Anurag Maloo is an Indo-Asian startup innovation Community Architect and a global facilitator for startup-focussed innovation and SDG-focussed impact innovation programs. As a Regional Manager for South & Central Asia with Techstars and Startup Weekend for 5 years, he is responsible for the cultivation and sustained growth of vibrant startup ecosystems in India, SAARC nations and Central Asian countries. Anureet Sethi has over the past 28+ years in the field of counseling, psychological assessment and psycho-educational intervention. Apart from being the co-founder of Trijog, she is also the HOD of the Inclusive Education Cell for the prestigious Podar Network of Schools, heading over 94 schools in india and is a consulting clinical psychologist at the Dr.L.H.Hiranandani hospital and Anusang centre at Chembur.

She has won many professional accolades in her rich and rewarding career span but what she holds most dear to her heart are the success stories of her wards and their journeys.

Archana Soreng belongs to the Khadia Tribe from Odisha, India. She is one of the seven members of the United Nations Secretary General’s Youth Adivsory Group on Climate Change. She is experienced in advocacy and research and is working to document, preserve, and promote traditional knowledge and cultural practices of indigenous communities.

Archana is one of the member of Indigenous Solidarity Working Group of YOUNGO (the official Children and Youth Constituency of UNFCCC). She works as Research Officer with Vasundhara, Odisha, an action, research and policy advocacy organization working on the rights of Indigenous Peoples, biodiversity conservation, sustainable livelihood and climate action in India. Since last year, she has also served on the Board of Land Rights Now, an international alliance campaign to secure Indigenous and community land rights globally.

Archana Soreng has also Participated in UNFCCC COP 26 2021 and Stockholm+50 International Environmental Meeting 2022 advocating for Indigenous People and Climate Action.

Archana holds a Masters in Regulatory Governance from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. Archana was also the President of Students Union of Tata Institute of Social Sciences 2017-2018

Archit is an amateur artist, foodie, beard enthusiast and poet. He started his entrepreneurial journey at the age of 16 by selling mobile phones and started a magazine as a platform for school and college students to showcase their art. He was also part of some of India’s first coworking spaces like Moonlighting and CoworkIn and has worked closely with many startups. Archit has been an active part of helping build up the startup ecosystem for the last 4 years, including initiatives like Startup Weekend Powered by Google for Entrepreneurs.

He believes that businesses are built on clear goals, clean delivery and action not thoughts alone. He likes things to be simple and would rather execute than think things through. Recently, Archit has co-founded Advaitha – a luxury skin care brand.

Arihant founded Handtribe – an exclusive marketplace for handmade, art & craft and unique products. His mission is to promote and start a habit amongst people to buy and use handmade products. He is a sports lover, travel enthusiast and consumer behaviour expert. He has over 6 years of business development experience in leading media houses like Conde Nast and Times of India across India and England.

Previously, he worked as the Vice President, Marketing of SAMM’s Juke Box. Arihant holds an MSc in Marketing from Henley School of Business, England.

Arushi Sethi, inspired by her psychologist mother’s journey, took it upon herself to take the beacon forward and embarked on an entrepreneurial journey, founding Trijog as it is known today – a 360 degree mental wellness organization that services individuals with mental health concerns across the spectrum that has transformed more than 2500 lives to date.

Her passion for the mental health movement, creativity and foresight helped develop and mould the brand. From ideation to conceptualization and finally attaining realization, attention to detail is what she emphasizes making Trijog the most unique organization in its skin.

Ashok Batra, completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Economic Honours at Wadia College, Pune. He joined J. Thomas & Co. Pvt. Ltd.in 1972 as a Management Trainee and served in that firm for a record 42 years until his retirement in 2013, being the Chairman and Managing Director for the last three years of his tenure.Immediately after his retirement from J. Thomas, he was appointed as a Consultant in Markets Transformation and Sustainable Value Chains to the World famous Non profit NGO, Rainforest Alliance, renowned for Sustainability and Environment protection, besides looking after Social and Labour issues, and much more. In this way, Ashok Batra will be giving something back to our Great Tea Industry, so that it doesn’t fade away and we still have a vibrant Tea Industry in the years to come.

Ashutosh Senger is an Advocate and a registered Patent Agent in India. He practices law primarily before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and the Delhi High Court. He is also a member of Young Singapore International Arbitration Centre.Prior to commencing litigation, Ashutosh worked as a Research Associate at The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI). At TERI, he has worked on environmental policy research assignments supported by international agencies such as ADB, DFID and GGGI. He is also the Governing Board Member of Youth For Earth, a not-for-profit organisation working towards enabling youth and businesses to be drivers of sustainable development.

Aishwarya works at Talerang on the mission to get students work-ready. In her role, she focuses on student engagement and drives the vertical for North India. She hopes to assist the young minds of tomorrow find their own passion by tapping into her own experiences. Aishwariya is a Mechanical Engineer from the University of Strathclyde, UK where she graduated with Merit and worked on projects specializing in renewable energy and sustainability. Prior to Talerang, she worked for several years to assist aquaculture farmers in India to become sustainable.

Asmita is an Indian model turned actress who hails from Shimla, Himachal Pradesh.  She made her acting debut with the Telugu film Brammigadi Katha (2011) and since then has endorsed over 40 brands like Coca Cola, Airtel, SBI, Big Bazaar and many others. In 2013, Asmita debuted in Kannada films with Victory, which also stars Sharan in the lead role. It was followed by her Malayalam debut in the anthology 5 Sundarikal in which she played Ami, a Muslim girl who gets married at a young age. Asmita started her modelling career towards the end of 2010 after participating in a reality show Get Gorgeous on Channel V and later participated in 2011 Femina Miss India beauty pageant ending up as one of the top finalists. She is a trained Kathak dancer as well. Avani’s goal is to connect with other social entrepreneurs so that we can all make our ideas bigger and better through sharing and collaboration. Her creation, LoveDoctor is focused on bringing real-time sexuality and healthy relationship counseling to the masses in India using technology.

It is a love, sex and relationship counseling service Avani also plays the role of the ‘director of community and empathy’ with SHEROES, where she is responsible to help make it the largest destination for women in the world and connect them with opportunities to improve their work, life and bank balance. Avani likes to describe herself as a – loud mouth and activist counselor with a do-good streak. Avani will be mentoring on 18th September.

Ayesha is passionate about brand management, consumer insights and research. In her current role at Unilever, she is responsible for innovation & communication for ‘Dirt is Good’ machine wash products across emerging economies like Vietnam, India, Indonesia, South Africa. Previously, she worked with ITC, JWT, Leo Burnett, Wow!Hyderabad and several other amazing organisations.

In 2012, Ayesha completed her MBA from ISB, with marketing, strategy and leadership as her focus areas. During this time, she was also the winner of ‘Best Experiential Learning Project’ and ‘Indian School of Business Torchbearer’ awards. In 2009, Ayesha’s love for travel and adventure led her to being a team member for the ‘International Antarctica Treaty Expedition’.

She was one of the two youth leaders selected as a recipient of the Credit Suisse Scholarship of USD 25,000 on the expedition. She secured media coverage for the ‘Antarctic Treaty’ issue through media engagement (NDTV, Hindustan Times) and participated in the ‘Sustainability Leadership Program’ in Antarctica focused on climate change mitigation. Ayesha also raised awareness amongst youth on climate change mitigation through workshops.

Bhavesh has more than fourteen years of experience working with national/international organizations, govt bodies, policy institutes and NGOs in various capacities. He helped set the ball rolling for NCR’s biggest Renewable Energy Park in Gurgaon, a collective effort by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Haryana Government and ADEME, The French Development Agency. Working on a World Bank and GEF (Global Environment Facility) project, he helped percolate benefits of resource efficiency among the Indian SME fraternity. His project with Indian industries has helped reduce 2 million tons of CO2 over its cumulative timeframe. He is a climate reality leader since 2011 and has delivered climate change talks to more than 5000 students, teachers and other civic society representatives.

Bhawna is a competent and qualified Sustainability and Social professional. She has worked in both corporate and consultancy portfolios which brings the holistic views and experience for practical solutions and network in the arena of sustainability and social. Bhawna drives business to go beyond compliance in the areas of environment, health and safety, responsible sourcing and human rights. She is currently leading Social and Human Rights in South Asia and ASEAN at RB, a £10 billion global leader in consumer health and hygiene, with Power brands such as Dettol, Nurofen, Durex, Vanish and Strepsils. Dhruv Gupta is a fellow at Teach for India. His passion lies in bringing innovation in the education space. He has designed and implemented an IVR based English learning intervention during summer holidays for 500+ students across Teach for India in Delhi.

Dr. Amrita Bahl is the Chair of CII’s Young Indians Delhi chapter. She is passionate about building social capital through the use of peer networks to effect social change. She has 15+ years of experience in Health and Education.

Amrita developed the Social Education and Health Advocacy Training (SEHAT) Program, a peer-led health education program aimed to train prisoners to become community health educators, which was implemented in partnership with the India Vision Foundation and UNODC in Tihar and Amritsar Prisons.

Dr. Seema Khanvilkar is a Ph.D. in Management in the area of Communication and has been teaching the mechanics of the language for the last 18 years. Currently, she is with MISB Bocconi, as Professor, Business Communication. Earlier, she headed the ‘Department of Communication’ at the School of Business Management and was Chairperson of the Soft Skills Development Centre at NMIMS University.

Seema is also a well known corporate trainer. She has trained middle level and senior management executives of both the private and the public sector in India as well as internationally.

Durgesh is passionate about providing fin-tech solutions to people who drive India. Through InMotion, he is building a financial ecosystem for daily wage earning communities primarily focusing on auto rickshaw drivers. Giving them the simplest way to save money, access to finance, insurance, and pension in-order to become financially stable.

Gagandeep Singh Sapra, known as ‘The Big Geek’ is a serial entrepreneur, who started his first company at the age of eleven, and called it ‘Pilot Engineers’. The Company in 1983 offered Data Entry and Computer Automation Services. It was eventually renamed as ‘System 3 Net Technologies Pvt. Ltd.’. In 1996, System 3 became India’s first Data Centre company with a Delhi based Boutique Data Centre. Today, it is a group of multiple companies with Gagan and his wife Harpreet at the helm of affairs as Founders and Co-founders. It deals with Interests in Data Centre’s, Information Technology Infrastructure, Remote Infrastructure Management, Digital Media and E-Commerce. An Electronics Engineer with specialization in Data Communication, Gagan is based out of Delhi and is an active member of Rotary.

He was also the President of his Rotary Club in 2015-2016 and can be found actively speaking at conferences and on panels of quite a few discussions around Technology and Entrepreneurship. Other than running his companies full time and his Rotary Efforts, he also writes a weekly technology column for the Hindustan Times News Paper, and for the Open Magazine. Karan Narang, a Mass Media Graduate from the University of Mumbai, started working in his first year of college to figure out what he loves to do. He eventually landed in Marketing after eliminating a couple of other job functions. His forte lies in organizing programs, managing events, offline activities, advertisements, short movies, presentations. He has been traveling & riding for almost a decade now.

In this current role, he is working in the marketing department of MISB Bocconi – the world’s only offshore presence of Università Bocconi, one of Europe’s premier universities. He has lodged more than 50 complaints on animal cruelty. His organisation for the first time documented, raided, seized and stopped an illegal pet shop in Bhubaneswar and also filed the most no. of FIRs against perpetrators. These cases were not only published on regional media but also on national media.

He has been awarded, honoured and interviewed by various organisations/ platforms/media like Amitav Mishra Awards, Maatritava Awards, L&D Global Awards, Youth for Seva Awards, NSS KIIT foundation Day, Edex Live, Otv- Akuha Katha, Argus TV, The New Indian Express. With the passion and relentless flame to improve animal welfare, he currently has 40+ members and 100+ volunteers.

He has a 24×7 open shelter and a rescue vehicle for all sorts of animals in need at any given point of time.

Malvika is a graduate from TERI School of Advanced Studies and a young professional in the education development consulting space. She is passionate about skill development and channelizing resources to develop the youth. Previously she has worked with the NaLonal Skill Development Corporation and worked on large scale projects and research assignments. NaLonal Council of Skill Development is mandated to skill 30% of the overall target of 500 million by 2022.

Manas is a creative thinker, MENSA member and a Young Leader towards sustainable development. He is currently the Global Executive Designate at the International Youth Council and has also served as the Country Coordinator for the Youth Assembly at the United Nations amongst other things. Manas currently works with the Policy and Strategy Group of the UN’s World We Want and is also a member of the UN Inter Agency Network on Youth Development.

As a social entrepreneur he has led the Indian Legal Foundation as its CEO and  remains involved with various global organizations such as the International Bar Association, World Energy Forum and Karios Society, where he remains committed to growing their outreach internationally.

Maria is a founding member of Educational and Development Initiatives (EDI), a Registered Society started in Delhi in 1995, with the aim of fostering ideals of service, advancement of learning, and relief for the poor. She currently heads Kamalini – EDI’s project in Gurgaon – which works to empower rural women to attain holistic development through encouragement, basic education and vocational skills.

During her tenure as lecturer at Kianda and Strathmore College, Nairobi, she helped direct a range of activities for college girls for their own personal development, and to sensitise them to engage in activities to provide relief to the needy.

After many years working with ESADE’s IT and Career Services to set up student-oriented projects, Maurici moved on to lead the international summer programmes of ESADE Busines School, Spain. These cutting-edge projects were designed to provide students with the resources needed to develop their careers, and also make it easier for firms to get in touch with students as prospective job candidates. After running the Career Resource Center really well, he can now be seen in different parts of the world from New York, Beijing and Mumbai, to interact with schools, universities and young students.

She has over ten years of experience working on governance and industry action in the field of sustainability and responsible business behaviour. Namrata Kilpady is a Campaigns Manager at Change.org, the world’s largest technology platform to create social change with 1.8 crore users in India and 20 crore users worldwide. As a campaigner, she leads a team that enables Indians, particularly women and those from disadvantaged sections of society to create the change they want to see through impactful digital campaigns in areas like gender justice, menstrual health, disability rights, child rights, civic and environmental issues. Prior to Change.org, Namrata spent 10 years in the media and development sectors, consulting for the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Advocacy and Communications in Maharashtra and editing news content at Times Now and CNN-IBN.

Neha Kumar works as a Consultant with KPMG. She has been extensively involved in internal audit & process reviews across the Health care,FMCG , real estate and media sector. While working with Protiviti earlier, she was conducting assignments for evaluating the key processes followed by clients, understanding the economic dynamics of client’s business and industry, identifying risks and process gaps, recommending solutions for mitigating of the identified risks. Previously she was the Vice President of AIESEC Delhi IIT.

Neha is a lawyer, currently working for United Nations Development Progaramme on promoting principles of human rights in business in India. She is deployed at the Ministry of Corporate Affairs to provide support in this regard. Previously, she worked with the Member of Parliament, Thupstan Chhewang, in Ladakh for about two years, where with the Leh-District Administration, she planned and implemented projects on rural tourism and solid waste management. Sruti Mohanty serves as the Senior Manager at Outline India and is an experienced researcher and consultant with a track record of working in the development sector in India, Nepal, Sub-Saharan Africa, and the Middle East. Her previous work in Africa involved working in conflict and sensitive regions such as Somalia and Sierra Leone, where she worked alongside international consultants on GPE and UN-funded projects to develop education and development policies. Sruti has a strong academic background, having pursued an M.Sc. in Education from the University of Oxford, in addition to having completed an M.A. in Sociology from the University of Delhi. Sujit Mahapatra is the Founder and Secretary of Bakul Foundation, where he is a full-time volunteer. Through Bakul, Sujit has started a movement for volunteerism in Odisha and has been harnessing volunteerism for creative interventions to promote reading and creativity, environmental awareness and conservation and creating vibrant public spaces.  Sujit studied English Literature at the Universities of Utkal, Hyderabad and Delhi. Tushar is a very simple person when it comes to wishes in life. He never asked for much. He had no desires or didn’t know what to choose as a career when all his friends were already talking about which college they want to go to, but he never really cared much about it.

He always told himself, “I am confident and capable enough to do something worthy in my life, do not worry.” But this careless attitude soon showed him the reality of this competitive world, when he was at a verge of getting compartment in his class 12th boards exam.

He listened to his heart, telling him to play a soccer tournament during boards and not listening to his brain, telling him to study. Soon, he heard about an organization called AIESEC. In the summer of 2013, he worked in Indonesia trying to impact their society. On his return, he decided to join AIESEC as a local committee member. From there on, his life completely changed.

Vaibhav Chhabra is a mechanical engineer by profession but a carpenter by passion. He is a ‘Global Shaper’ at the World Economic Forum and the Chair of Entrepreneurship & Innovation at CII’s Young Indians. A graduate from Boston University, Vaibhav spent two years of his career at EyeNetra, building eye diagnostic devices. Yogesh is an inspiring political leader who has worked tirelessly for the upliftment of the masses in the rural areas across India. He was the national co-­convener for the Panchayat Raj cell during the Vajpayee government and travelled across the country to understand the challenges and create innovative models of governance. He is a member of BJP’s executive council for Uttar Pradesh and has also been a member of the national youth commission for the government of India.

Zuber Memon works on building affordable medical technology solutions for emerging markets. A graduate of GE’s ‘Edison Leadership Program’ at the John F. Welch Technology Center, he has championed technology development initiatives through crowdsourcing models, design thinking and open innovation – a key highlight being Jugaad-a-thon, a medical technolgy hackathon in India co-hosted with CAMTech, MGH Boston. He is currently working on developing education solutions for first-time CT users in remote areas. An IIE/GE Foundation scholar, Zuber graduated BE in Mechanical Engineering from Manipal University and is pursuing a Masters in Systems Engineering from Pennsylvania State University. Zuber is also an Adjunct Faculty at Manipal University – mentoring students and teachers – with a keen interest in re-modelling Indian higher education to enhance the employability index of graduates.
