Satyajeet Arya is an Assistant Professor and Director of Sri Sri Centre for Advanced Research in Water Resources and Environment Management at Sri Sri University, Cuttack, Odisha. He has a continuing PhD in Chemical Sciences from the Academy of Science, Innovation, and Research (AcSIR)- CSIR- Institute of Mineral and Material Technology (IMMT), Bhubaneshwar, Odisha. He also has an M.Tech in Energy and Environmental Management and an M.Sc. in Environmental Science from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, Haryana. His B.Sc. is in Industrial Microbiology from Guru Nanak Khalsa College Yamunanagar, Haryana.
Satyajeet is a highly motivated and dedicated environmental specialist with a passion for promoting sustainability and protecting the natural world. He has excellent academic records and experience in teaching environmental studies, and he is skilled in teaching students with practical examples. He is able to prepare the syllabus, deliver a lecture, and hold group conversations on related topics with students. He is also able to organize national and international conferences/seminars/webinars and conduct programs/workshops/training for community development/farmers’ development. Satyajeet is capable of writing projects for local/national/international level funds.
Satyajeet’s work experience includes being an Assistant Professor and Program Coordinator (Environmental Science) at Sri Sri University, Cuttack, Odisha, from July 2016 to July 2021. He has been teaching environmental studies to undergraduate students, assisting senior professors in preparing curriculum and presentations for the University Board, and engaging in student recruiting, program development, and program assessment. He has administrative responsibilities such as being the co-coordinator of two ongoing research projects with City University New York, USA, environmental nodal officer for East zone (India) for organizing National Environmental Youth Parliament 2022, and faculty mentor for World Ranking – UI Green Metric Award (2020, 2021).
Satyajeet has completed several internships, workshops, and trainings, including in Central Pollution Control Board, New Delhi, and Econ Consultancy, Dehradun, Uttarakhand. He has also attended a training program on E-Waste deconstruction and a national workshop on research and methodology in Sri Sri University, Cuttack.
